We have a number of spaces that are available for functions, events and the celebration of special occasions both at Dog's Bar and at our sister venue, the 1924 art deco former dance hall, St Kilda MEMO.

The Dog's Bar arts & event space is a unique and quite special room that can be transformed into the perfect exclusive space for you and your guests. With a series or Rennie Ellis limited edition photographs adorning the walls, Mark Douglas light fittings, 10 million year old onyx and Victorian polished plastered walls and Victorian stained mirrors, this room is very 'St Kilda'. We even encourage you to bring your own playlists on your iPod so you can listen to the music you like, though we're also happy to provide you with ambient playlists from our own library.

St Kilda MeMo Theatre has been 'asleep' for 50 years, but in 2012 we're waking it up and running a whole range of special events in this marvelous 1920's former dance hall. With the ability to run cocktail parties for up to 400 and seated dinners / lunches / breakfasts for up to 250, in addition to the balcony offering cocktail parties up to 100, this is truly a space that you want to discover for yourself.

We have a private dining room which seats 12-30 guests comfortably around the unique solid Jarrah table that snakes through the room, offering each guest a much better view of the other guests than a traditional straight table. With a range of menus to suit every requirement and almost all budgets, this room is perfect for celebrating special occasions, a corporate lunch or dinner or even just a great opportunity to gather friends and family and have dinner around a single table. All our ingredients are local, seasonal and often delivered by the farmers and growers themselves.

We have a cocktail party room, which works well for groups of 30-100 guests and for larger groups we will provide exclusive use of our terrace. With the ability to mingle, cocktail parties work when you want your guests to meet everybody! With great sustainable finger food packages, changing with the seasons, cocktails, wine or micro brew beer packages or drinks on consumption, you're getting a great space to have a party. Put on your cocktail dress, wear your best suit, drink Martinis & Manhattans and let your feet tap to the tunes, while you mingle and enjoy everybody's company.

We have two screening rooms / cinemas. At Dog's Bar we have a screening room for up to 50 guests. At St Kilda MeMo we can seat 50-400 guests. Whether you're looking to run a film festival, do a 'cast & crew screening', an investor screening, a wrap party, screen a documentary or classic film to your club, group of society, our screening rooms provide you with the perfect space. We love film, filmmakers and the creative spirit associated with getting projects going.

We have a number of meeting room areas. You're located in the heart of St Kilda, with the ability to break-out to the beach, O'Donnell Gardens and St Kilda Botanical Gardens on your doorstep. The rooms offer great spaces for creative brainstorms, strategy development, visioning sessions, routine off-site meetings and seminars / presentations with screening facilities available accommodating groups up to 400. With day-delegate packages, you can work within your budget easily, with morning coffee and even breakfast easily being supplied, fruit & biscuits, lunch and even dinner at the end to reward everybody's efforts. We have a whiteboard, pens & paper available for your use. For more creative team development / strategy development sessions we have access to facilitators and local filmmakers and artists to provide organised activities and ways to open up the creative thinking process.

We have spaces that are perfect for campaign, brand & product launches, media announcements, corporate briefings and more.
